King Charles grants Kate Middleton a historic royal title
After her disappearance for a long period and her diagnosis of cancer, King Charles III granted Kate Middleton a new historic title by appointing her as a “Royal Companion of the Order of Honours,” making her the first member of the royal family to be appointed among the Honorable Mention.
This royal title came as support for the Princess of Wales, after she was diagnosed with cancer, and due to her dedication to organizations, such as the Little Princess Trust, and her own childhood development initiative, Shaping Us.
This title dates back to 1917, when it was given by King George V, to recognize achievements in art, science, medicine and public service.
