Work is the main cause of stroke

It is said that laziness is the cause of every illness, but if work causes a stroke, this is a new and strange thing. It has been found that working for ten hours per day, even once a week, can cause a health disaster for a person, and accordingly a medical study published recently recommended emphatically not to work for these Long hours under any circumstance.

According to a medical study, the results of which were published in the British newspaper The Independent, which was seen by Al Arabiya.net, working for ten hours per day, even once a week, raises a person’s risk of strokes and heart attacks by a third, i.e. a relatively large percentage, compared to those who They work fewer hours per day.

The French study found that those who work ten hours a day frequently have a third increased risk of brain disease, stroke and heart attack, or about 30%, compared to their peers who work fewer hours.

The French researchers conducted their study on the effect of working hours on cardiovascular health to find these results and conclusions, and end up recommending working for no more than eight hours a day, in order to preserve public health.

According to the results of the study, people who work 50 hours or more, 29 days or more per year, have a 10% greater risk of stroke and heart attacks than their peers. This means that working one day a week for XNUMX hours or more can put a person's life at risk

The other terrifying finding that French scientists reached is that people who work for long periods of more than ten hours a day repeatedly for 10 years, have a 45% higher risk of stroke and heart attack compared to their peers who do not work these long periods.

The French researchers concluded these results after they conducted surveys that included a study of more than 143 cases of people aged between 18 and 69 years, who were followed up since 2012 when this study began.

And the newspaper “The Independent” notes that Britons in general suffer from working longer hours than their European counterparts, as the average working hours in Britain are 42 hours per week for an employee, and this figure drops for workers in France, Belgium and Italy to 39 hours per week, while in Denmark it is Only 37 hours a week.
